First wedding anniversary make.

This was a spurt of the moment request from a friend as a gift for his first wedding anniversary.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, paper cut with slice basic elements, peels offs for edging.

We have tools, papers, inks, embellishments the LOT!

Over fifty items for sale so far and there is more to get added.

September's friendship card swap

With being signed off from work with my back playing up again, I managed to make another card!

This time it was for the friendship card swap on Docrafts forums! :)

Love to shop decoupage with highlights of sakura glitter pens.
Distressed love to shop papers and decorative paper flowers with buttons as centres.
I also used the Dovecraft paper lace heart as a backing also.

Sentiment and card base edged with metallic silver pen.

Thanks for looking!!

They fell in.....honest.

Well I had an appointment in town this morning and stupidly went for a nosey in Millers art store at the paper craft section.
They had the DC stuff in and some stuff may have well ended up in my basket.
Oops.
Buttons, berries, decoupage and stamps!!

I found the buttons and berries for £1 a pack which I thought was good value!!

Some of the newer stamps are lovely too!

Lots of layers!

Hi all,

After yesterdays two cards, I felt that I could do better, so I took some inspiration from fellow DC members and went for it.

I had saw people distressing the edges of their paper and it just seemed to give a more authentic feel. Most were using the Tim Holtz paper distresser, but I decided to try with scissors!

The overall card.
Decoupage image topper accented with antique velvet distress inks.
Paper edges distressed with household scissors.
Purple circle sprayed with cosmic shimmer spray.
Little flowers punched and hand made by my mother. <3

I have hundreds of these cute embellishments but never use them!!

Among the boxes of embellishments were a little jar of these paper shimmery raised dots. I have no idea where they came from, I think Mum got them in a wallet swap!

White flowers punched and hand made by my mother.

Cosmic shimmer circle, just adds a little more colour and splash to the card!

Well, I hope you like the card, I am very happy with it! This is more like the kind of card I should be making if I just put the time into it!
Well, how ese will I use all of my papers up? :D

Cosmic shimmer card!

I made another card and decided to use cosmic shimmer for the first time :)

Needless to say, my wooden chopping board did not survive.....

It might have blue shimmery stuff on it now :/

A new card!

Somehow, I always make a mess...

My little rounded corner punch. Lifesaver in my opinion.

Messing about with layout.

Peel offs and flowers with everything stuck down.

Overall, I am not too impressed with this one, but it is my first card in 9 months!

Morning Folks!

Good morning all!

Well, I was awake from 3am and gave up at 5am and plodded downstairs with the laptop.

I came onto the DC forums and someone was asking where to purchase Anita's Glitteration peel offs at a decent price, so being the bargain hunter that I am, I decided to have a look online.

Very quickly I came across a company based in Heartfordsire called Colemans (link here) and they were selling them at £1 each with free UK delivery on ALL orders!

So, I posted on the forums to let her know about it and then made the mistake of snooping at their sale sections for Christmas....then it happened.

I am FURIOUS!

The kitten jumped onto the laptop, put two foreverfriends stamps in my basket and a decoupage sheet for christmas, made me an account, completed checkout, paid via paypal and then just sat there quite happy with herself!

How dare she? *huff*

So umm, yea!

Here is what the kitten bought me :)

Not bad, less than £6.00!

More late night crafting!

Yet another sleepless but crafty night!

Two more cards for Christmas, but decoupage this time!

Then, there is this card which I have edited into this post...
I am unsure of the design as it is so unusual, comments more than welcome!

So, now that is done and since it is 7:26am, I am away to bed! :P

Two In a Row

Well, I decided to start another card this evening after earlier success on the Christmas theme, and before I knew it, it was complete!

Have a look! :D

FlowerSoft polar friends snow globe!

Image decoupage by Flowersoft, globe and card basic stock from Flowersoft.

Glittered the stars and snow inside on the ground and then inserted some Polar White Flowersoft for snow shaker effect.

Card layered with blue and silver snowflake foiled card then decorated with punched snowflakes, ribbons and sticky gems.

Added some silver peel offs to finish!

Sentiment is a simple silver peel off (was too late to use the embossing gun) on a cut out tag on the Slice.
