First wedding anniversary make.

This was a spurt of the moment request from a friend as a gift for his first wedding anniversary.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, paper cut with slice basic elements, peels offs for edging.

Just for those who were asking for it,

here is the short video I made showing the TH paper distresser tool.

First Christmas Card 2014

Stamped image part of new Penny Black range.
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Image coloured using promarkers and fine nibs.
Sentiment stamped from daily and dandelion Christmas set.
Used Tim Holtz paper edge distresser on paper edges.

New cosmic card.

New card made in the wee hours when I couldn't sleep.
Distressed edged papers with scissors.
Perfect pearls used on purple circle and topper backing paper with stamps from perfect impressions and V & A.
Martha Stewart punches used for butterfly's and yellow edge butterfly's. Decorative dots were random embellishment from Mum's stash.
Used glossy accents on dots and elements of topper.

Hi all,

After yesterdays two cards, I felt that I could do better, so I took some inspiration from fellow DC members and went for it.

I had saw people distressing the edges of their paper and it just seemed to give a more authentic feel. Most were using the Tim Holtz paper distresser, but I decided to try with scissors!

The overall card. 

Decoupage image topper accented with antique velvet distress inks.

Paper edges distressed with household scissors.

Purple circle sprayed with cosmic shimmer spray.

Little flowers punched and hand made by my mother. <3

I have hundreds of these cute embellishments but never use them!!

Among the boxes of embellishments were a little jar of these paper shimmery raised dots. I have no idea where they came from, I think Mum got them in a wallet swap!

Cosmic shimmer circle, just adds a little more colour and splash to the card!

Well, I hope you like the card, I am very happy with it! This is more like the kind of card I should be making if I just put the time into it!

Well, how ese will I use all of my papers up? :D

Cosmic shimmer card!

I made another card and decided to use cosmic shimmer for the first time :)

Needless to say, my wooden chopping board did not survive.....

It might have blue shimmery stuff on it now :/

A new card!

Somehow, I always make a mess...

My little rounded corner punch. Lifesaver in my opinion.

Overall, I am not too impressed with this one, but it is my first card in 9 months!
