Have A Gift Christmas

Morning all!

:-)

Another miserable day here in Glasgow!

Here is today's make!

Topper is a Forever Friends stamp inked with Momento ink which was then coloured with Promarkers.

I used Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and fabric flowers as embellishments in the corners with a hint of the DoCrafts golden berries to add some warmth.

I had some of the blue twine which I used instead of ribbon and the sentiment was edge distressed with the tim holtz tool.

Glossy accents was used to cover the candi dots and the edges of the image for decoration!

Snow Lady Christmas

Good morning everyone!!

How are we all today?

I thought I would share my latest creation with you all.

I bought this lovely and adorable stamp from NGCards and I thought that it was about time she was getting used!

The card has been layered with vellum papers and normal paper, embellished with some coloured twine I found lying around one of the embellishment boxes, wild Orchid Crafts flowers and candi dots.
The flowers in the lower left corner are left from Mum's stash and are made of fabric. I have no clue where she got them from!

The image was stamped in Momento ink and coloured with Promarkers.

Today's new card! :)

Been messing around making cards today and this is what I came up with.

The main image is a Fairy Doodles stamp which has been stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink and then coloured using Promarkers.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Various papers used and perfect pearls also.

First Christmas Card since 2010!! - Feedback welcome!

Hey all!

OK, so I got my craft on today as I posted earlier, and here are the results!

Getting all of the stuff out I needed may have created a bit of a crafty mess....
Oops!

All of the bits waiting to be put together!

I did not have any blue glitter card, so I made my own!

The assembled card, glitter and all!

Foiled snowflake card as backing layered with foiled cream snowflake paper stock.
Side border white paper is textured with flock.
Punches used: Martha stewart gingerbread man boarder punch, xcut snowflake punch. Image stamped is forever friends independent stamp (not in a set), coloured with promarkers on white card stock, then backed with white card which was glittered by myself.
Image and backing cut out and embossed with Nestabilities Labels Two and Cuttlebug. Sentiment is cut out card topped with letter and boarder peel-offs.

So there we have it!

My first card since making them with Mum.

I think she will have been watching over me having a giggle at the mess I was making.

Idiot's Guide....

Well, I was making my first card the other day for the first time in almost two years and lo and behold, I open Mum's box she kept her cuttlebug in to cut out my stamped image with nestabilities....

What did I find?

An idiots guide to which plates to use and in which order for all the different kinds of folders and dye cuts.

She had a mix of spellbinders, cuttlebug, sizzix and loads of other kinds of stuff! I would have been clueless otherwise!!

I was grateful and through the tears caused by a mix of sadness and amusement, I managed to get it all done!

Cuttlebuggy goodness - OH MY!

Box upon box of cuttlebug, sizzix and spellbinders folders and templates!

All of these were Mum's and she obviously decided on storing them in an interesting way!

She actually managed to organise something AND save space!! If you knew my mother, you would realise that this is as amazing as the first person to slice bread  :P

I do not even want to count how much stuff there is here or the cost! I think Dad might keel over if he knew!

She stored the embossing folders and dye cuts in CD cases with the magnetic wallets from asda for pictures to put on the fridge!!

Amazing idea!

CD case with embossing folders on right and brass templates on left!

Brilliant way to store all the spellbinders stuff!

Cuttlebug embossing folders

Nesties! All stored on magnetic plates! You never loose them!

Embossing folders galore!

Impressibilities, nestibilities and shapeabilities on the left, embossing folders on the right with some cuttlebug dye cuts!

Three boxes of stuff for the cuttlebug!!
